Special case: cable protection pipes
When protecting extremely complex power supply lines –
high voltage (HV) cables – all applicable laying loads must be
considered (trenchless technologies / no-dig applications).
Also, the long-term loads due to increased heat exposure of
the pipe walls and the structural loads from the surrounding
soil affects the material selection for the protective pipe.
