To protect the pipe that leads global energy supply - such as High Voltage cables, must take into account all the important requirements for installation (trenchless laying / NoDig application). Other factors are the long-term stress due to increased input into the pipe wall temperature and the static load caused by the environment of installed pipe.

Wiring ducts used to protect piping for supply and communication channels during installation and after it and also during its operation life. Requirements for pressure less ducts consist primarily in the fact that they are capable of long-term and stable protecting pipes against stress caused e.g. ground transportation and communications that they are resistant to. For pipes of higher quality is also added the option to install them through alternative methods. This has changed recently. Pipes with deliveries and electricity are increasingly stored in the ground and exceeding 110 kV, what leads oft to heating stress during operation.
Standard cable protection pipes made of PE 100 cannot be applied in this case and it is due to high temperatures over their operating life. This is caused by thermo-oxidative degradation of the material, which leads to failure of pipelines.
HV cables require protective systems with long-term thermal stability and secure communication technology. New LHT® pipe with its properties, especially the long-term resistance to temperatures > 70° C corresponds to these requirements fully. Construction of the pipe ahead of standard conventional pipes made of PE 100, for example: the maximum possible input power.
