Single Anchor Leg Mooring (SALM) Buoys are marine terminals connected to the seabed via a single chain leg with the fluid swivel located on the ocean floor. A tanker moored to the buoy provides the means to import or export oil and refined products. These systems serve storage facilities, refineries, petrochemical plants, and power plants worldwide.
