FIBERSTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) Series
FIBERSTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) Series is manufactured using a thermosetting resin system, Polyester or Vinyl Ester, where glass fibers are continuously wounded with extreme precision with or without pure silica sand aggregates with a unique abrasion resistant Polyurea (PU) based material. The resulting pipe has a high abrasion, high, chemical and high corrosion resistance as well as excellent mechanical, physical, and thermal properties.
FIBERSTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) series is the ideal pipe system for slurry services and a wide range of abrasive applications in both underground and above ground installations.
Product Range
FIBERSTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) Series pipes and fittings typically range from 2” (DN 50 mm) up to 36” (DN 900 mm) in diameter, and designed to withstand pressures up to 32 Barg (465 Psig) and temperatures up to 85oC (185 oF) in highly abrasive environments.
