WAVISTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) Series
WAVISTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) series is manufactured using a thermosetting resin system where glass fibers are impregnated with an aromatic or cycloaliphatic amine cured epoxy resin and helically wound onto a smooth rotating mandrel and lined with a unique abrasion resistant Polyurea (PU) based or Silicon Carbide (SiC) based material. The resulting pipe has a high abrasion-resistant performance, chemical and corrosion resistance, as well as excellent mechanical, physical, and thermal properties.
Product Range
WAVISTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) series pipes and fittings range from 2” (DN 50 mm) to 24” (DN 600 mm) in diameter, and designed to withstand pressures up to 25 Barg (360 Psig) and temperatures up to 100oC (212 oF) in highly abrasive environments.
Applications
WAVISTRONG® Abrasion Resistant (ABR) series is the ideal pipe system for slurry services and a wide range of abrasive applications in both underground and above ground installations.
The typical applications include but not limited to:
